Golden Lemon is a bright yellow-gold pigment. This pigment has a nice texture and applies smoothly both wet and dry. It is pretty bright dry and very blendable. Wet, this pigment intensifies and gives the color a shiny metallic golden finish.
I would recommend this pigment for anyone who wants to have a more colorful highlight as opposed to the standard beige and white. I like to wear this on the inner third of the lid, under the lower lashline, and on my tearducts.
Despite being a bright color, it is quite versatile since metallics are neutral. It pairs well with browns, purples, pinks and greens. I personally like to wear this pigment with Emerald Green, Violet and Chocolate Brown.
This pigment is definitely on the great side of MAC pigments, it has a smooth texture and applies easily both wet and dry. It blends out well and can be as sheer or intense as you want it to be. The question is really if you are comfortable wearing such a bright gold as most people are more partial to dirty or antiqued golds.
Until next time!
