Deep Blue Green is a frosty dark blue-green pigment. This pigment has a nice texture and applies smoothly when wet, although it's a little tougher to work with dry. Realistically you can use it whichever way you prefer, because as you can see from the swatches above that applying it wet or dry doesn't make a significant difference to the color.

I would recommend this pigment for anyone who likes to rock dark or smokey eyes. This piggie has the advantage of being both blue and green, so putting a base of those colors under it would pull those colors out and make them stronger. A black base would also bring out the darkness of the piggie as well.

The darkness of this color keeps it from being very versatile, but it's still a great piggie for special occasions. I wear this color mostly as a teal smokey eye for nights out and it looks great for that purpose. I pair this color with colors like Teal and Silver Fog.

This pigment is definitely on the medium side of MAC pigments, it has a nice texture and applies easily but it can be hard to work with because it is so dark. A mistake is harder to blend out when the color is darker. Overall though, I would recommend hunting down this piggie if you love to rock a green or blue smokey eye.

Until next time!
